Trinity Mission will host United Gospel Singers at 7 p.m.
SATURDAY (MAY 18)
The Franklin County Community Chorus Spring Concert will be held at Rocky Mount Baptist Church at 7:30 p.m.
Trinity Mission will host Holy Trinity Missionary Baptist Church at 10 a.m.
The Redwood Community Association will hold a dance from 7:30 to 11 p.m. with music by Friday Nite Bluegrass Band.
A yard sale and craft market will be held at the Ferrum Rescue Squad from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. To rent a space, call 365-2178 or 365-2281.
A garden tractor pull will be held in Boones Mill behind the bank beginning at 11 a.m.
The Franklin County Historical Society will sponsor the 13th annual Veterans Memorial Day at 10:30 a.m. on the courthouse lawn. Guest speaker will be John Cahoon.
The Franklin County Violin Program will present a spring concert at 3 p.m. at Rocky Mount Christian Church. Tickets are $5 for adults; children under 12 admitted free.

The Franklin County Community Chorus Spring Concert will be held at Christ Community Church at 4 p.m.
The Snow Creek Rescue Squad will host an open house from 2 to 4 p.m.
TUESDAY (MAY 21)
Trinity Mission will host singing with Samara at 7 p.m.
The Franklin County Perinatal Education Center will hold childbirth class #6 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. To sign up, call 489-1800.
THURSDAY (MAY 23)
Trinity Mission will host Garden City Grace Brethren Church at 7 p.m.
"Riddle on the Harp" a group that performs Celtic and traditional folk music, will hold a concert at the Franklin County Library at 11 a.m.
SATURDAY (MAY 25)
Franklin County Parks and Recreation will sponsor a bus trip to New York City through Monday, May 27. For more information, call 483-9293.
Trinity Mission will host Wirtz Assembly of God Praise Team at 7 p.m.
The Redwood Community Association will hold a members dance. A covered dish meal will be at 6 p.m. and the dance from 7:30 p.m. to 12 a.m. with music by Limited Edition.
SUNDAY (MAY 26)
