A Rocky Mount woman pleaded guilty last week in Franklin County Circuit Court to forging a bank note.

Holly Candace Raines, 28, will be sentenced on Oct. 21 at 3:15 p.m. in circuit court.

The forging and grand larceny charges involved Raines passing counterfeit money, according to court records.

Raines was initially charged with three counts of forgery by using counterfeit money and one count of grand larceny.

However, two counts of forgery and the grand larceny charges were dismissed.
