An open horse show will anchor the last day of activities during this year’s Franklin County Agricultural Fair on Saturday, Sept. 26.
The show will be held at the Ginther Farm at 3128 Sontag Road in Rocky Mount, within a mile of the fairgrounds at the Franklin County Recreation Park.
Registration will begin at 8 a.m. and the show will start at 9 a.m.
Organized by the Franklin County Equestrian Club, the horse show will be sanctioned by the Blue Ridge Horse Force and Franklin County Equestrian Club and will feature 56 competitive classes.
Entry fees are $8 per class. Participants registering by Saturday, Sept. 19 will receive $1 per class.
Registration forms can be found online at the fair website, www.FCAgFair.com. Completed forms may be emailed to FranklinCountyEquestrianClub@yahoo.com or mailed to Franklin County Equestrian Club, 897 Muse Field Road, Rocky Mount, VA 24151. Pre-registration forms must be received no later than Sept. 19 to receive the discount.

Championship and Reserve Championships will be awarded in Western, Walking/Racking, English and Gymkhana Youth and Adult divisions and the Game division.
