‘Blonde’ by Joyce Carol Oates
Ana de Armas stars as Marilyn Monroe in the Netflix film adaptation of Joyce Carol Oates’ fictionalized story of the pop culture icon. Adrien Brody, Bobby Cannavale and Julianne Nicholson also appear.

‘Eragon’ by Christopher Paolini
“Eragon,” the first of four books in Christopher Paolini’s “Inheritance Cycle” series, is reported to be in development as a live action series for Disney+.
In the series, a young farm boy named Eragon befriends a dragon named Saphira, who helps Eragon fight King Galbatorix and free the land of Alagaesia from tyranny.
‘Red, White & Royal Blue’ by Casey McQuiston
A movie adaptation is in development for Casey McQuiston’s 2019 novel, which centers on a star-crossed power couple — Alex Claremont-Diaz, the son of the President of the United States, and Prince Henry, grandson of the Queen of England.
The film, from Amazon Studios, stars Taylor Zakhar Perez and Nicholas Galitzine.
‘The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo’ by Taylor Jenkins Reid
This 2017 novel is being adapted into a movie by Netflix, written by “Little Fires Everywhere” creator Liz Tigelaar.
The book follows a reclusive Hollywood icon named Evelyn Hugo as she tells her life story to magazine reporter Monique Grant, who wonders why Evelyn decided to share her secrets with her.
‘Wool’ by Hugh Howey
Rebecca Ferguson and Tim Robbins are set to star in an upcoming Apple TV+ series adaptation of Hugh Howey’s popular sci-fi novel about a toxic dystopian future and a society of people who live in an underground silo.
Ferguson plays Juliette, who struggles with her newfound power after being inexplicably promoted to the head of law enforcement.

‘Malibu Rising’ by Taylor Jenkins Reid
Liz Tigelaar will produce another Taylor Jenkins Reid novel adaptation, this time for Hulu, with an upcoming series based on 2021’s “Malibu Rising.”
The novel tells the experiences of the famous Riva siblings, whose lives take a dramatic turn after their annual end-of-summer blowout in 1983.
