Visitors enjoyed wine, music and lakefront views in addition to beautiful weather on the first day of the two-day Smith Mountain Lake Wine Festival on Saturday. Nearly 30 local wineries, craft breweries and distilleries were in attendance providing samples along with nearly 50 craft vendors. The events main stage hosted bands playing a variety of music throughout the day.
