A relic, a glove, of St. Padre Pio on display. A Capuchin friar, he spent most of his life in a remote mountain friary. He received the gift of stigmata (bearing marks resembling the wounds of Christ) and many other gifts including reading the hearts of penitents.

The "Peace Mural" known as a sgraffito was made by professor Joseph Slawinski in the 1970s is in the relic area. The mural depicts the story of Fatima where Our Lady asks for conversion, repentance and prayer.

Mother Cabrini

Mother Cabrini

A statue of Mother Cabrini. Mother Frances Cabrini was born in 1850 in Italy. She founded the Missionary Sisters of the Heart to aid Italian immigrants in the new world. She taught at St. Anthony's school in Buffalo and is the first American citizen to be canonized. A movie about her life was filmed in Buffalo last summer.
