LOVE will be on display at tonight’s Come Home to a Franklin County Christmas, thanks to Franklin County High School students in the building trades program. In discussing ideas for a LOVE sign during a planning committee meeting with Community Partnership for Revitalization, Zack Brooks, recreation specialist with Franklin County Parks and Recreation, enlisted the help of Bruce Broadstreet, the building trades teacher at FCHS. “After a few collaborations … we had a plan in mind and it was put into action,” Brooks said. “The committee and I are mighty impressed with dedication to perfection the kids took among themselves in their workmanship.”
