Rocky Mount Lions Peace Poster winners were Jacob Montgomery (front row, from left), Sarah Rafael and Nicholas Guilliams. With them are Roger Seal (back row), teacher Teri Wright and Joyce Gordon, president and contest coordinator. The winners were awarded a monetary gift from the club.
Lions Club International recently sponsored its annual Peace Poster Contest for students and youth groups. The 2019 contest was titled “Journey of Peace,” with the goal of finding out how to achieve peace. The peace poster contest inspires more than 600,000 students to share their vision of peace. Winners and their families will be recognized at the December Lions meetings.
