UNION HALL — Smith Mountain Lake’s Penn Hall Manor has been restored following a renovation by developers. The famous home on the lake’s southern side is now one of a growing number of short-term rentals in Franklin County.

A seven-bedroom, 14,000-square-foot lakefront rental is the largest short-term rental offered by Wilson Premier Properties. It includes a meeting room for conferences, a private home theater, a hidden spa room, a video game room, a bowling alley and a pool table.
