The first bill introduced for the 2025 General Assembly session came from a former high school history teacher, Del. Lee Ware, R-Powhatan, who’s long been concerned about how much students know about their government.
Sen. Bill Stanley, R-Franklin County, sponsored the legislation to remove the medical malpractice cap in cases involving young children.
