SML Sandlot and the SML Anglers took the field for action last Friday night in the opening game of Smith Mountain Lake Fall Classic 10U baseball tournament at the Westlake Baptist Church field. SML Sandlot was victorious, 12-7. The contest was the only one played. Six games that had been scheduled for Saturday were rained out and the tournament was canceled.
