The final week of NFL preseason games kick off this week as the regular season is just around the corner.
As teams prepare for the 2022 season, there are still some things at stake in these warm-up games. And we're not just talking roster spots.
With a win Sunday night, the Baltimore Ravens have extended their preseason winning streak to 22 games, dating back to 2015. Their 24-17 win over the Arizona Cardinals in Week 2 came mostly on the play of backups, as both teams rested most of their starters in the second preseason game.
Baltimore will play host to the Washington Commanders on Saturday night in their finale to see if the Ravens can go one more year undefeated in the preseason.
There's another streak on the line as well: The Buffalo Bills have now won 10 consecutive. They beat the Denver Broncos 42-15 on Saturday, with Josh Allen making the start at quarterback and leading the Bills on a touchdown drive in his only series of the game.
As we head into the final week of preseason games, more and more starters will begin to play, as teams focus on the regular season, which kicks off Sept. 8-12.
