In an already crazy tournament, how much madness is left in March?
Maybe your NCAA Tournament bracket is busted, but the $12 million World Golf Championships-Dell Technologies Match Play gives you another chance to show your prowess handicapping an event featuring 64 seeded hopefuls.
Sixteen four-player groups will tee it up in a round-robin format starting Wednesday at Austin (Texas) Country Club, a tricky, par 71, 7,108-yard course that rewards risk takers.
After the first three days, the field will be whittled to a Sweet 16 with single-elimination matches starting Saturday. That will set the stage for the final match Sunday. The winner earns $2.1 million. Billy Horschel is the defending champion.
FrontPageBets takes a look at the entire field.

Outright pick to win: Xander Schauffele (+2000)
Schauffele, No. 9 in the Official World Golf Ranking, is one of the steadiest putters on the Tour, a key attribute to have in match play. His strong play from tee to green (17th in strokes gained) will serve him well. In three previous starts here, he has never been out of the top 25. He’s coming off a T-12 at the Valspar Championship (my top-10 pick for him falling just short.) Schauffele was third at the Waste Management Phoenix Open and 12th at the Sentry Tournament of Champions.
Group 8 pick to win: Dustin Johnson (+165)
I like Johnson, ranked 11th in the OWGR. We liked him to win last week at Valspar, too, but he finished T-39. Why are we on DJ again in what has been a scattered season for him? He won this event in 2017 and has been good in match play (22-17-2) over his career. He should be able to handle Homa, Wolff and Hughes to advance.
Group 6 pick to win: Justin Thomas (+165)
I’ll go with world No. 7 Thomas as he tries to polish his game a couple of weeks ahead of the Masters. This is an uber competitive group and Kisner is the top threat.(+260). JT is just 10-12-1 in match play. But he was in the hunt at Valspar, finishing T-3 and should play into the weekend again. Since the turn of the calendar he has four top-10 finishes.
