NFL Week 8 picks and predictions

There's an old saying in football: Run it until they stop it.

And that's the philosophy we're sticking with again this week as we break down the Week 8 NFL picks and predictions: Underdogs lead the way.

Dogs have been good to us recently. So good in fact, my overall season record against the spread is over .500 for the first time this season, including winning at a 60% clips the past three weeks.

This week, we're rolling with four underdogs to win straight up, including -- and you guessed it -- the teams from New York.

The New York Giants are 6-1 overall and 6-1 ATS, including a perfect 5-0 against the spread as the underdog.

The New York Jets are 5-2 overall, 5-2 ATS and 4-2 as an underdog.

Combined, the four dogs we having winning straight up are 16-11 and 10-7 as underdogs against the spread.
