It seems the Carolina Panthers have their man. At least, according to the sportsbooks.
With more than a week until the 2023 NFL Draft, Alabama quarterback Bryce Young is the consensus odds-on favorite to be selected No. 1 overall by the Panthers.
As of Tuesday morning, FanDuel set the odds at -1000 for Young to be the first pick, while Caesars has him at -1200, and DraftKings at -1400.
Young started off as the favorite to go No. 1 coming out of the college football season. And even after the NFL Combine, where Young’s height (or lack thereof) became a topic of conversation, the former Heisman Trophy winner was still the outright favorite.
Monday, FanDuel had Young at -400 to go No. 1. Then Tuesday, it was -1000.
In between, Young announced that he was cancelling the rest of his pre-draft visits to potential teams, indicating to many that he would indeed be the Panthers’ pick.
FrontPageBets takes a look at the odds-on favorites to be selected with the first five picks of the 2023 NFL Draft.
