The UEFA Champions League semifinal stage pits Bayern Munich against the competition’s most successful club, Real Madrid.

Bayern sits second in the Bundesliga behind the undefeated Bayer Leverkusen. They won four straight matches and were last played to a draw by Arsenal in the first leg of the Champions League quarterfinal.
The German club did not concede in five of its last six UCL matches, with the 2-2 draw with Arsenal serving as the lone exception. English striker Harry Kane is in blistering form and registered 42 goals and 13 assists in 42 matches across all competitions, including seven goals and three assists in 10 UCL outings.
Madrid also won four straight games and was part of a tie against a Premier League team (Manchester City) the last time they were not victorious. They eliminated City on penalties after tying 4-4 on aggregate and are looking to add yet another trophy to their enormous collection.
Bayern manager Thomas Tuchel said he had a solution for the “dangerous” Jude Bellingham, who picked up four goals and four assists in eight Champions League matches (21 goals and 10 assists in 36 total matches).

Kane was once a Champions League final runner-up with Tottenham and is still yet to win a major trophy in his career. This is his best chance to win a trophy in a long time, and he has a tremendous opportunity to do so in style: by winning the Champions League.
Kane is a natural finisher and will have no problem picking up space in the heart of the Madrid defense. He scored 11 goals in his last 10 matches and averaged 2.1 shots on target during that time, cashing the over in six of the 10 matches. Bayern is going to need him to have a great game against a Madrid team that has the best defense in Spain and was solid in the UCL.
Real Madrid props: Over 5.5 corners (+186 or better)
Bayern is the home team in the first leg, and historically, that means Madrid is more likely to play on the counter-attack. Bayern’s defensive shape could also encourage the Madrid wings, namely Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo, to use their speed to fly down the flanks, which typically leads to more corners.
Madrid is confident in the UCL and likely won’t be as cagey as Arsenal was. Bayern is also confident in its attack and could leave itself exposed on the transition to one of the faster teams in the competition.
