NFL Week 12 picks and predictions

Being home for Thanksgiving is important.

And in this week's picks, it's huge.

Out of the 13 games during Sunday and Monday's Week 12 slate, we're going with nine home teams to win, including six to cover the spread and one to pull the upset, which is Carolina (+1.5) over Denver.

These nine teams are a combined 24-17 (59%) at straight up at home.

The six teams I've picked to cover -- Miami Dolphins, New York Jets, Washington Commanders, Seattle Seahawks, San Francisco 49ers and Indianapolis Colts -- are 33-28-1 (54%) against the spread this season. At home, they are 13-12-1 (52%) ATS.

The Carolina Panthers are 3-3 at home this year, including 3-1 as home underdogs.

It's good to be home for the holidays.
