The first dominoes of the VCU men's basketball transfer portal season fell on Friday, as first-team all-Atlantic-10 guard Max Shulga declared for the NBA Draft and junior center Roosevelt Wheeler entered the transfer portal.

VCU’s Max Shulga averaged a team-leading 15 points and a team-leading 3.6 assists. He also averaged 4.9 rebounds and shot 41.8% from 3-point range.
