RICHMOND — The Virginia House of Delegates on Wednesday passed a proposed constitutional amendment that would let state legislators redraw Virginia’s Congressional districts if another state does so first.
People raise their hands in opposition to the proposed constitutional amendment on redistricting Wednesday during a meeting of the House Privileges and Elections Committee. The committee advanced the measure on a 12-9 party-line vote, and the House of Delegates later passed it on a vote of 51-42.
